Re: How to validate subscriber data before subscribing to a
Hi, The links to OpenEMM call OpenEMM forms . If there is no such form, there is no risk. Here is my suggestion for your problem: 1. Delete the single opt-in form from your OpenEMM installation. 2. Only use double-opt in for your registration. 3. Rountinely update your blacklist using the http://www...

Mass Bounce by Admin?
Hi, We're running OpenEMM 2013 on CentOS. While checking my recipient statistic I found an unusual high number of bounces. Looking closer, most had the status Mass Bounce by Admin . I don't recall to have seen this status before. Does anyone know what this status actually means? Thanks a lot Markus

Re: A way to inactive recipients for a specific mailinglist
Hi ruffp, I am not sure I understand you correctly. However, in order to unsubscribe recipients from a specific mailing list you could: 1. Create a CSV of those email addresses, that need to be unsubscribed. 2. Create an import profile with the mode "mark recipients as opt out" 3. Import t...

Re: use Velocity within mailing content?
Hi bhcuong2008, You could try to solve your problem using Target Groups and dynamic content. The situation is similar to our bi-lingual user registration, where we send either a German or English mailing based on the target group (= based on the language setting). See the "Target Group" se...

Re: How fast without triggering deferred, etc?
For lists < 100,000 recipients we usually work with a blocksize of 500 - 1,000 emails and 5 min. break between the blocks. This results in 6K - 12K emails per hour.

Re: Spam registrations
Hi sr-ska, I did some testing, and yes, your problem can be solved. Our DOI registration process consist of 3 steps (3 forms): Step 1: - Field definitions (i.e. mailing list etc.) - User data entry (name, email etc.) - Call Step 2 Step 2: - Create user entry - Send DOI E-Mail Step 3: - User presses ...

Re: How to add domain key/Dkim record?
We had an external contractor (via oDesk) to implement DKIM on OpenEMM 2013 including bounce management for us.
He created a new mail qeue system and signed the mails outside OpenEMM.

Re: Spam registrations
Hi, there are two easy ways to do this: 1. Use a double-opt-in process for the registration (instead of single-opt-in). This will filter out illegal e-mail addresses. 2. Frequently import the "Mogelmail list" (www.mogelmail.de) as blacklist. This way, you filter out all temporary ("10...

Re: Openemm + DKIM + bounce managment
Hi,
Yes, we have OpenEMM 2013 + DKIM on Gento running.
We used an external contractor via oDesk to do the job.
He had implemented separate mailing-qeues (slow/mid/fast) and signed the mails outside OpenEMM.
Best Regards

Re: Another error in softbounce.log
Hi ud,
I am not quite sure I understand what you want to say.
Graylisting works fine on our OpenEMM 6.2 installation. Just not on the OE2013. And we can't find the reason yet.
