SimonMoore, I finally did implement your solution, thus editing semu.py directly. It seems to work as DKIM headers are added. Anyhow, smart-relay wasn't working for me (and I couldn't send messages to test.myiptest.com since that domain has no MX record and semu didn't seem to like that) so I figure...

Have you ever found a solution to this problem?
I have found another forum post which required OpenEMM code to be modified.
This post, however, seems to be more straightforward to implement but I cannot get relaying to work.
Have you tried anything similar?
