How serious is this bug?
Are we all potentially having data deleted without knowing it?

OpenEMM no longer works on Ubuntu (64-bit)
ia32-libs are required for OpenEMM on a 64 bit machine, but Canonical has decided to end support for the transitional package of ia32-libs (as of v13.10). This significantly reduces the number of configurations OpenEMM can be used on.

Is OpenEMM thread safe?
When looking through the code, there seem to be a lot of examples of singleton code using thread-specific variables.

Make the system 100% Java
I was looking through the Python/C code, and I don't see a good reason why any of it is made in Python. Lots of logic has been duplicated (e.g. the email generation logic), there's different configuration strategies (e.g. the Python code reads properties slightly differently than Java), and I'm conf...

Support dynamically generated content (custom tags)
The templating functionality in OpenEMM seems quite limited. For example, it's not possible to create a custom tag. This would be useful if I wanted to add a tag like [custom_data city="Chicago"] which would run a system command, or Java-backed code, etc to render content. Additionally, it...

Bug: Date-based emails not sending (if set for afternoon)
There's a bug in the latest release of OpenEMM v2013 that can prevent date-based emails from sending. STEPS TO REPRODUCE - Load the "Send Mailing" tab of a date-based mailing - Choose "Daily Delivery Time" between "now + 4 hours" and "23:00h" (the bottom value...

Missing CSS file: reportstyles.css
The "Statistics" page (/mailing_stat.do) references a CSS file that's not included in OpenEMM, /styles/reportstyles.css If you load this page, you'll see the browser get a 404 when requesting the file. Without this CSS file, the stats page looks fairly wonky. At least, it doesn't look near...
