FCKEditor IE7 Bug
Hi all, There seems to be a problem with the fckeditor in IE7. Saving changed HTML Content in WYSIWYG Mode produces a HTTP 500 Error. Saving plain text / HTML code works. No problems in Firefox 3 :) Work around: Closing the fckeditor and saving the content block. Tested with this openemm version: Op...

So the double problem was caused by the python scripts (pickdist etc). I've found some rpms for python 2.3.4 and MySQL-python 1.2.0 for Redhat Linux 9 and installed them. Now the action based mailings are generated and transfered to the sendmail queue correctly. Maybe I'll reinstall it on a newer Li...

I've reintalled the current OpenEMM version (as tarball). Same situation. I thought there are some differences between the rpm and the tarball. Normal mailings are listed in the maillog, the actionbased not. Maybe this is a the reason: There are no *-update.log and *-pickdist.log files in ~/var/log....

Is this problem solved when selecting an action based mailing which has not been deleted before? (see bug report on SourceForge: http://www.openemm.org/forums/ftopic588.html ) I've created the doubleoptin actions and forms as described in the OpenEMM manual/wiki. In other OpenEMM installations (e.g...

I've posted form/actions etc under Installation. Today I updated to 5.3.1.c. I tried to delete all mailings (also the action based). But when I add a new action (type send action based mailing) all previous mailings are visible in the select box. Also the action based mailing for double opt in I del...

Double Opt In Configuration

Double opt-in confirmation mail never arrives
Hello all, I've done a installation of OpenEMM 5.3.1. It seems that there is a problem with action-based mailings. I've created an action-based mailing for confirming the newsletter subscription (double opt in). It seems that the mails with the confirmation link never arrive. The mail address is add...

JFYI: I checked the mail preview in OpenEMM 5.1.1 (the vmware img). It seems that this bug affects this earlier version too! The bug affects the TEXT mail preview too. I created one target group based on a numeric/alphanumeric field and added target group specific content. It seems that the group sp...

No target group content in mail preview?
Hello All I've installed the current version OpenEMM 5.3 (suse). Afer the setup I created some targetgroups. topic1, topic2. In the mail template I added example entries for each topic i.e. there are place holders HTML-Topic1, HTML-Topic2. The fields topic1, topic2 are numeric (0 or 1, length 1). I ...

404 Error - OpenEMM 5.3 on SUSE
Hello all I found some time to test the new version 5.3 of openemm. After the installation I tried to access the web admin page (port 8081). It seems that the value '5' for the field user_status of table customer_1_binding_tbl is missing in the documentation of the db tables? Status of the recipients on the mailing list: 1 = active, 2 = bounced, 3 = Opt-out by admin, 4 = Opt-out by user What status is assignd to 5? Anyway. Thanks for the...

Removing bounce addresses
Hello all! Does OpenEMM automatically remove bounced mail addresses? Ofcource I could delete the recipients from the customer binding table. But is there a filter that removes bounced addresses (scan_and_unsubscribe)? Is there a limit for soft bounces set (reaching it lead to the deletion of these a...
