Debugging actions?

Hi,

I'm using the double-opt in forms and actions that are included with 5.5.1. The modifications I've made are mostly in appearance and the e-mail link in the confirmation e-mail. Everything works up until the final step where the subscriber clicks on the e-mail link. The link opens in the browser but gives the error message. The new account does show up correctly in Recipients and assigned to the correct mailing list but is of course in the "Waiting for user confirmation" status.

Any hints or tips on how I can find out what is causing the error?
