Hi All,
We're planning to install and deploy OpenEMM as marketing tool and I have several questions raised by Management and they are as follows:
1. Is OpenEMM multiple domain capable? Meaning there are several domains that will use the same service and each user will have its own domain and will have its own mailing list.
2. Is there a limit as to how many emails it can send?
3. Since most of the recipients are using free public email services like yahoo and gmail, is there a way for the emails not to be tagged as spam?
4. How many times can we send emails in a day?
5. For those with experience sending emails to Yahoo, how many times can we send to Yahoo users?
6. We have several thousands of email addresses in our databases, can OpenEMM handles this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
You mean you want to send emails with different sender adresses (@domain1.com, @domain2.com)? That's no problem, you can define freely what the sender adress shall look like.1. Is OpenEMM multiple domain capable? Meaning there are several domains that will use the same service and each user will have its own domain and will have its own mailing list.
Theoretically, no.2. Is there a limit as to how many emails it can send?
This is strongly dependant on the configuration of your MTA + the way you "design" your newsletters. Just check out the OpenEMM documentation, there are several explanantions on how to avoid being tagged as spam.3. Since most of the recipients are using free public email services like yahoo and gmail, is there a way for the emails not to be tagged as spam?
This is only limited by the speed of your fingers clicking "Send" and by the length of the mail queue. I don't think Yahoo has sth like an "only accept x mails a day" rule in their spam filters (at least if it's not 1000/h or sth, but I can't think of any newsletter which is sent several times a day tbh)4. How many times can we send emails in a day?
5. For those with experience sending emails to Yahoo, how many times can we send to Yahoo users?
Theoretically, yes.6. We have several thousands of email addresses in our databases, can OpenEMM handles this?
How can i achieve that, my instalation of openemm only supports 200.000 recipients.
Thanks in advance.
