Install on Ubuntu - Sendmail not working

Post by benhar »

Installing on Ubnutu, when starting Openemm, get errors:

Code: Select all

Starting sendmails: listener Failed to start /usr/sbin/sendmail (No such file or directory)
admin queue Failed to start /usr/sbin/sendmail (No such file or directory)
mail queue Failed to start /usr/sbin/sendmail (No such file or directory)
I am able to run OpenEMM and access the webUI, but sending doesn't work.

Okay, sendmail seems active now

Reinstalled sendmail (apt-get install sendmail) and it actually seemed to register and install right. Didn't get the errors when starting OEMM. but still messages are not being sent.

In the step of the install where you chmod 644 maillog, I get error file doesn't exist. should I manually create the file?
