Anyone setup openEMM on godaddy "Dedicated IP" Pla

I want host my site on https://www.godaddy.com/, does anyone know if I setup the openEMM on there, “Dedicated Hosting IPâ€

Hi

I'm not sure about Godaddy's services but for OpenEMM you really need a dedicated hosting service, not just a dedicated IP address. Either a VPS (Virtualised Machine) or a complete dedicated (physical) server would do the trick depending on volume of data/email transmissions etc...

You really also need admin (root) access to your machine.

OpenEMM doesn't use PHP. It runs in Resin which is a Java Container like Tomcat but leaner. It does have some Python though.

Yes, I did. It cannot be done. They have the port you need to use blocked and will not open it. They also don't allow you to choose your own mail agent. Even if you did manage to get it running, their email restrictions/settings would essentially prevent you from sending email, e.g. if you don't use a throttle or have it set too high, they will suspend your account and drop all that mail. The same for bounces. None of it is documented.
