"Operation timed out" When sending email

Post by ZiadRida »

The "Operation timed out" error keeps repeating and no email is sent!
We are running a test of openEMM on windowsXP. Is there a setting for email timeout period?
What syntax should we use for the "mailloop domain"? We used mail.addr.com
How about the "smart relay"? We used username:password@mail.addr.com

our domain is: misd.com.jo
addr.com is our email host domain

No email is being sent. The queues are not being cleared. We actually got it to work only once and we have no idea how!

ANY HELP IS APPRICIATED?

Here is an update: A day later, without any configuration change; now I get a different error:Retry as sent to mail.addr.com failed 400: 'Connection unexpectedly closed'

What should I change to fix these issues?

I guess a conflict occurs between the configuration setting of your system and the software you have installed. You can also check the setting of your email account. After that see if the connection port line of the internet is in its proper place.
