Hi,
I'm trying to configure OpenEMM on my home server. Everything is installed, I can set up mailing and send it. OpenEMM says, that mailing was sent, but messages are not delivered. I found that in Sendmail log:
Feb 12 23:12:13 openemm sendmail[3000]: 2229T5b8200000001: to=<mikolus@mydomain.com>, delay=03:38:04, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=esmtp, pri=6030000, relay=mydomain.com., dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with mydomain.com.
My server is behind a router, all ports are redirected. I added "A" record on my dns to point openemm.mydomain.com to my ip address. I can connect to the panel using openemm.mydomain.com:8080. I also added MX record with "openemm.mydomain.com" as the value. The problem is, that there is only one mailing receipient and it's not mikolus@mydomain.com and I didn't set mydomain.com as the relay for sendmail.
My OS is Fedora 14 and I'm using OpenEMM 6.2.
Does anybody know what's going on?

Re: Sendmail - Connection timed out
Actually, it was my fault. I set the wrong sender email address during the installation, changing the sender hostname in the db fixed that problem (it's the "Initialize/Update the MySQL Database" section of the wiki).

Just for info: The wiki content is written and modified by OpenEMM users. The OpenEMM Install Guide and the OpenEMM User Manual are the "official" documents.

Re: Sendmail - Connection timed out
Most ISP's intentionally block the mail port (25) to keep users from hosting their own mail servers.
The "connection timed out" error is along those lines.
