'No plain-text version available' when testing mail [fixed]

Post by friedbrain »

When I try to send a test mail for a template I get the message 'No plain-text version available.' although I have defined it as follows:

Tab Template under Text version:

Code: Select all

[agnDYN name="Text"/]
Tab Content under Text module => Text

Code: Select all

Beispieltext
for a German speaking target group and

Code: Select all

Example text
for an English speaking target group.

Am I doing something wrong?

You need a text for the target group "all subscribers" as well so that OpenEMM has a fallback text in case of fall-through.

Thanks, that works now (although I didn't get an email yet and I clicked on 'Test-Mail' but the table lists 70 emails instead of 1 :? ).

Mails are working now that I configured the right home folder in the emm.properties. :)

Yes, this message is intended because some mail clients do not accept HTML and in this case your mail should contain an text format alternative.

If you don't have the openemm folder in /home/openemm you have to adjust the following parameter in the emm.properties:

Code: Select all

system.logdir

mailgun.ini.maildir
mailgun.ini.metadir
mailgun.ini.xmlback
mailgun.ini.account_logfile
Or simply search for '/home/openemm'.
