Hi,

I installed python and mysql-python on my CENTOS VPS
Btw it would be good to know that you need Python 2.6 because it supports MySQL5.

Anyway i can connect via python to my db.

The installer still says it's not installed so I removed that check from the sh file but now it says that there is no mysql-server installed..

Of course I have a database installed.. is it safe to install that MySQL-client RPM via WHM although I already have it installed?

Any help is appreciated!

root@vps [/tmp]# rpm -ihv OpenEMM-5.5.1-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
MySQL-python is needed by OpenEMM-5.5.1-1.i386

This is ridiculous, I can connect via Python but the installer says it's not there?

How do I tell the installer where it is or create a symlink w/e?

Also says:

OpenEMM Installer: RPM package(s) missing: mysql-server
