Hello,

I have been tasked to make a virtual machine of OpenEMM and transfer over our data from the old OpenEmm 5.5.1 box to the new machine.

Are there are any incompatibility issues in running OpenEmm 5.5.1 data on OPenEMM 6.0.1? As well, what data do i need to transfer over? I am new to openemm and do not know where the data files/directories are.

we had an centos vm with openemm 5.5.1 and i upgraded it to 6.0.1 (and upgrade of centos, too).

you can clone your vm (change ip settings to avoid problems when both run) and upgrade the cloned vm and so you will also migrate all data from 5.5.1 to 6.0.1
