I've been using OpenEMM for a few months, sending campaigns, all was good. All of a sudden mysql will not start.

here is what I get:

Running:
service mysqld start
Timeout error occured trying to start MySQL Daemon.
Starting MySQL: [FAILED]


if I type in just mysql I get:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL Server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

Issue resolved. Apparently there is a ton of disk space used up by this application and it filled it. Logs from mail, etc.

Is there a way to easily purge these automatically?

The latest version of the OpenEMM Install Guide offers plenty of advice on how to handle growing databases.
