OpenEMM-2013 (fresh install).
Create C.M. Module Types, Content Modules, templates.
"Bind" CM template to existing mailing.
Preview mailing content: AGNITAS tag name values display but no content displays.
Preview Content is set to HTML version.
Agnitas tag name values match C.M. Content Modules names.
Content Modules do contain "content".

Please try this:
1. Create a new mailing
2. Assign a CM template to this mailing [edited]
3. Preview this mailing - you should see the template with unfilled placeholders
4. Assign a content module to the same mailing
5. Preview this mailing again - now the first placeholder should be filled with the content module
If you are unsure how to do it please read the user manual and/or load the demo database to have data to work with.

A) I assume that by "2. Assign a template" that you are referring the a CM template - correct?
B) "4. Assign a content module to the same mailing" - hmmmm - perhaps THAT is what I failed to do
-- the story continues ....

OK - your suggestion about assigning content modules to a mailing work just fine. Thanks
P.S. Now that content modules are displaying in the preview mode, there also now appears to be a "handle" for each dynamic section/module which in preview mode - allows one to reposition a section. What, however, are the "+", "pen", "delete" icons for and more importantly - what to do they affectg (preview only, content module, CM template?).
