Hello maschoff,

We are (finally) going to install OpenEMM 2013 in April. For this I wanted to ask you about an older issue (discussed in 2011), about opt-out recipients still receiving an action based follow-up mailing.

Checking the OpenEMM 2013 handbook I could not find any reference to our issue:

- User registers to our newsletter.
- As part of the registration, we create an action based follow-up e-mail to be send 7 days after the registration.
- User opts-out from the newsletter prior to receiving the follow-up mailing.

Will the action based follow-up mailing still be send, or will OpenEMM 2013 check the recipient status prior to sending the mail?

Please advise.

Honestly, I don't know right now, but you can use the OpenEMM 2013 installation at demo.openemm.org to check it out yourself.

Hello maschoff,

Unfortunately I can not test this with the demo account, because you can not activate Action Based Mailings on the demo account.

However, we start with the OpenEMM 2013 installation this week and will check on our life system.
I'll keep you posted.
