Static Ip Adress for windows installation

I Installed Open emm on windows xp and it does work .My mailings are not been emailed.I dont have a static ip .
My question is
DO I NEED A STATIC IP ADRESS FOR THE WINDOWS INSTALATION ?

You can use a service like DynDNS.org to make sure that the host name of OpenEMM (and redirect host name and bounce domain name, in case you use those) resolves to your current IP address.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I am using a standalone Pc which is behind an adsl router .I have a domain name and can get a static ip adress from my host as well or else can get it from the ISp also .which one do you recommend .I dont want to have problems with sending and reciving mails once i set up open emm.Do you think using dynDNS service will be better option.

A static IP address is always a more reliable solution than using dynDNS, because if dynDNS fails your host will be unreachable.
