OpenEMM Installed on Windows

Hi,
I recently installed OpenEMM on my windows machine. But first, a bit of back story.
First thing I did was make the computer a web server machine through dyndns and some port forwarding, and apache. So the web server is at graphics.ath.cx.
Then I installed all the essential software that is required for OpenEMM (I assume), which was MySQL, python, the python addon thing for mysql and the java sdk.
Then I went through the process of installing OpenEMM. I put in graphics.ath.cx for the appropriate options, and filled in the other choices too. The install went fine, didn't get any errors or anything.
Then I set up a test e-mail, and sent it to a test recipient. The program would repeatedly say "the e-mail is being sent" but never actually send it. Then I tried clicking on the "send now" button and it said it did send off the e-mail. Problem is, the test recipient hasn't received it.
Is there something i'm missing here? Am I supposed to set up anything else to get e-mails sending properly?
The OpenEMM software is running off my machine (c:/openemm), which is a web server, just to clarify. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'd love some help!
Cheers,
graphics
