su with permission denied error, OpenEMM 5.5.0, CENTOS 5.2

Having installed the OpenEMM by following the installation instruction on CENTOS 5.2 without errors.
However, when I trying to start the service by following the su command. I got the following error entering to the bash prompt.
[root@host openemm]# su - openemm
su: warning: cannot change directory to /home/openemm: Permission denied
-bash: /home/openemm/.bash_profile: Permission denied
-bash-3.2$
How should I fix this problem? Your help is appreciated.
