Upgrade VMWare Image

Hi guys,

I am just trying to upgrade my vmware run 5.3.0 installation running smoothly. since the online upgrade first is availabe to 5.4, i need to upgrade openemm db from 5.3 to 5.4 first, to be able to use this feature in future.

can you recommend a procedure to accomplish this? have there been changings in the db model? maybe i can simply dump my old db in the new one?

i am quite firm with db and linxu specific issues.

Unzip the binary tarball of OpenEMM and execute files update_openemm-5.3.0-5.3.1.sql, file update_openemm-5.3.1-5.3.2.sql and update_openemm-5.3.2-5.4.0 to update in directory /usr/share/doc/OpenEMM-5.4 to upgrade your database from 5.3 to 5.4 (see install guide for details).
