Question for ma:importing data into db while sending mailing

Hello,
I have an openemm installation on a CentOS 5 machine that use MySQL.
A perl script import customers data from an old db into the new openemm db, one time a day started by crontab. Customers data is imported on "customers" mailing lists. My question is: What's happen if the script add new data to the "customers mailing list" while a "customers mailing list" mailing is going out? the message is send also to the new recods?
