Python scripts
A small question to understand in which areas scripting languages such as python would be useful. In the case of OpenEmm I can see that source code contains quite an extensive number of python scripts ... would someone be able to explain (in a high level way) what sort of functionality is offered by...

Disable mail sending - cross posting

Re: Disable mail sending
Thanks for your reply Anton. I'm not entirely sure disabling sendmail will work though since, from what I've understood, when sendmail is not found an SMTP emulation provided by OpenEmm will kick in .. I'm not entirely sure I understood this well though. I think i'll move this question to the Develo...

Disable mail sending
Hello, A bit of a strange question considering that the whole reason behind OpenEmm is that of mail sending ... but, I am using OpenEMM as a test bed for a research project I'm carrying out and do not really need to have the 'sendmail' functionality enabled. OpenEMM is running on a university workst...

Re: xmlback reports syntax error

Later uses of xmlback were succesful

C code in OpenEmm
Hello, I'm a student that is currently carrying out some research on polyglot programming and have come across openEmm which seems to me to be a good example of such software being written in Java, Python and C. I'm wondering whether people familiar with the openEmm source code can give me some star...
