Hello,
We have an AlmaLinux 8.5 with an OpenEMM 21.10.000.073 installed. We want to upgrade the server to Linux 9 directly and keep the installed OpenEMM working properly. Is it possible? Do we need to make any change to the OpenEMM during the upgrade?

With "Linux 9" you mean AlmaLinux 9? If so, have a look at the Install & Admin Guide for OpenEMM 25.04 that contains some references to AlmaLinux 9. However, we have never tried the combination of an old OpenEMM with a new Linux version ourselves (only the other way around).
