OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX

Post by rmajcen »

I downloaded all three OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.part* files from http://sourceforge.net/projects/openemm/files/. Then I tried to join files on linux and windows (cat OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.part* >> OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip (Linux), type OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.part* >> OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip (Windows)).

But when I'm unzip-ing OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip an error occures:

[/home/rajko/Desktop/VMAPLIANCES/OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/rajko/Desktop/VMAPLIANCES/OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip or
/home/rajko/Desktop/VMAPLIANCES/OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip.zip, and cannot find /home/rajko/Desktop/VMAPLIANCES/OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.zip.ZIP, period.

What am I missing?

R,R

Added some hours later.: I downloaded OpenEMM-5.5.1 VMX version and joining the files was OK and VMX machine works (firs impression, let's dig deepper). So I guess some OpenEMM-6.0.1-VMX.part*'s are missing.

And Settings/Update works prefectly so now I actualy run version 6.0.1. :-)

I just downloadad all three parts (there are no more) with Windows and combined them with type. The resulting ZIP file could be unpacked without a problem (although the combining and unpacking each took its time). Maybe one of your download file was corrupt?

I downloaded 6.0.1-VMX parts again, joined them succesfully and ZIP is expanding without errors. Obviously something happened during first download. :-(

Problem solved. Thanks.
