I just downloaded and installed the VM version (6.0.1) from SourceForge and the appliance runs, but the keyboard has problems. When I press "/" I get a "-" and then I press "-" I get a strange capital B.
Because of this I cannot even do the setup as indicated in the VM setup guide.
I have it installed on an Windows XP 64bit host running VMPlayer and have several other VMs running with no problems on the machine. I did install the VMWare Tools to see if that impacted the issue and it had no effect.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have just imported the "OpenEMM-6.2-VMX" into my vSphere setup. I also have keyboard problems. When I press "/" I get "-".

You have to change the language settings to adapt the language used by Linux to your keyboard layout. Maybe this helps:
