Pre-Header

Hi,

E-Mail clients use the first 2-3 text lines of a mailing for their preview function.

Recently I read about a feature called "pre-header". This is suposetly a feature that allows you to pass the specific preview information to the e-mail client, instead of the e-mail app just taking the first couple of lines.

Is something like pre-header be planed for OpenEMM?

We have never heard about such a capability. Do you have a link with more info you can reference us to?

I found the information in a white paper from the German eMail marketing company Dialog Mail (we have no association with this company).

The document is in Germany but since you are located in Munich I assume you can read it. The pre-header information is in section 2.6.
