Does anyone have any experience or tips on installing OpenEMM on Mac OSX and running under Tomcat 6+?
I have several websites running on Eclipse Helios & Indigo and Spring Tool Suite using Tomcat 6, Java 6 etc.
I would like to set up OpenEmm to run in this environment.
Later, if successful, do some coding on OpenEmm...
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
TIA.

While we do not know of an installation based on Mac OSX we would be glad to hear more about it (or what prevented someone from a successful installation).

Was your install successful? Just curious as we might be converting over to macs at our office for our website http://www.motorcycletalk.com. Very curious to see how it all worked out.

I also would very much like to hear if anyone has managed to make it work on OS-X.
What does work nicely is running the VM-ware build using VMware Fusion.
I have recently upgraded to the openemm 2013 release via auto-update.
Software updates of the VM are via SSH & 'yum'. Has been working nicely for a number of years with around 100.000 messages / week.
Hardware is a OS-X 10.7 Xserve Quad-Core 3GHz with 20GB Ram
cheers
