Embedded Images from CMS

Post by racer2k »

Hi All!

Merry Christmas! (even if its too late already),

I have the following configuration on my openemm server:

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with OpenEMM2011.

My problem is the following:
When I import a CMS template, it uploads the images to the server and if i send a test mailing,
all is fine. The Images are sent embedded. If I open it in Outlook 2007 it shows the pictures.

In the source of the mail i have the
---==AGNITASOUTER164240059B29000011==
Content-Type: image/png
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Location: http://XXX.com/image?ci=1&mi=17&name=te ... a/logo.png

However, all images that I upload to the Content Modules are not sent embedded and will
be shown as external content that needs to be downloaded.

My question is now, if it is a bug, that only via the CMS Template uploaded pictures are sent
really "embedded" and not the uploaded via the Content Manager ones.

The recipient of course is "offline html" type.

Thanks for your help.

That's the way the CMS is designed right now.
