Which authentication methods aside from username, password is OpenEMM supporting?
Is it possible to implement a smart card authentication for example? Furthermore I've read about a WebSSO Plugin working with OpenEMM2015, is SSO implemented into OpenEMM2019 or 2020 natively? Or are modifications necessary to use SSO?

This is an interesting question, especially regarding SSO and alternative authentication methods. It would be useful to know whether newer OpenEMM versions added native support for SSO or whether an external plugin or custom integration is still required. Smart card authentication would also be an interesting option for environments with stricter security requirements.
